Innate Wisdom Psychiatry & Wellness provides evidence-based care through comprehensive evaluations and individualized treatment plans. Daniel Plastino is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who is experienced in working with adults with a variety of psychiatric disorders.
Appointments are available in person at the Arvada office or virtually through secure telehealth services. This flexible model helps individuals access mental health treatment that fits into their daily lives.
Each patient begins with a thorough assessment. Together, we will develop a holistic care plan that may include medication management, supplementation, supportive therapy, lifestyle recommendations, and mindfulness/somatic techniques.
Follow up treatment includes regular check-ins, and adjustments to the treatment plan as needed, supporting long-term progress, and improved well-being.

Please note:
We do not provide individual or talk therapy, psychological testing, court-ordered services, or treatment for children and adolescents. Ketamine treatment evaluations are also not available for Medicaid clients.

Commercial insurance is billed first for those with private health insurance (including PPO insurance plans) and Medicaid. Medicaid then acts as the payer of last resort, covering any remaining eligible costs. This system helps reduce financial strain while improving access to consistent mental healthcare.

Yes. If you have Health First Colorado, your behavioral health services are fully covered, with no copays or out-of-pocket costs. Medicaid makes it possible to access mental health support without financial barriers.

We focus on psychiatric medication management and associated behavioral health services. We do not provide stand alone psychotherapy, psychological testing, or court-ordered assessments, but we're happy to coordinate with your therapist or other providers if needed.
